Connect with others in a supportive group setting to share experiences.
Group therapy brings together individuals who share similar experiences, challenges, or goals in a supportive, therapeutic environment. Led by a licensed professional counselor, group therapy offers unique benefits that complement or serve as an alternative to individual therapy.
In a group setting, you'll discover that you're not alone in your struggles. Connecting with others who understand what you're going through can be incredibly validating and healing. Group members offer different perspectives, share coping strategies, and provide mutual support while working on their own personal growth.
Groups may focus on specific issues such as anxiety management, depression support, grief and loss, life transitions, social skills development, or general personal growth. The group format provides opportunities to practice new skills, receive feedback, and learn from others' experiences in a safe, confidential environment.
All group therapy sessions are conducted via secure telehealth for participants in Georgia, Florida, and Idaho, creating an accessible community of support.

Group therapy typically consists of 6-10 participants who meet regularly with a facilitator. In your first session, you'll learn about group guidelines, confidentiality expectations, and have the opportunity to introduce yourself at your comfort level. Each session includes time for members to share their experiences, discuss challenges, learn new skills, and support one another. The facilitator guides discussions, ensures everyone has an opportunity to participate, and provides therapeutic interventions as appropriate. Group therapy is a collaborative process where everyone contributes to a supportive, judgment-free community. You'll progress at your own pace while benefiting from the collective wisdom and support of the group.
